Marceil & Katy are no doubt one of the most laidback, genuine, caring and perfect for each other couple I’ve met. And don’t get me started on their doggies! It was such a pleasure to photograph them on their big wedding day and I’m beyond happy they took me on a party bus ride with them from Long Beach to LA.
The day started at their home in Long Beach, CA where we met and did few photos before heading out to The Port of Long Beach to get some classy-background wedding party portraits with famous Queen Mary ship and Long Beach Harbor Lighthouse. After that we cruised in a party bus from our location straight to the SmogShoppe venue in Los Angeles where we’d stay till the rest of this fun day.
The guests started to arrive, bottles of whiskey were opened, portraits taken and “I do” said during the ceremony that was sealed with a bubbly toast (except the kiss of course!) at the end so no time for dehydration at this wedding. I guess it shouldn’t come as a surprise when one of your brides works in a bartending industry and half of the wedding consists of her awesome colleges. The reception and the party were full of laughs, fun speeches and cheering and time moved definitely too quickly as everyone danced this night away.
I love the fact that I got to be there for Marceil & Katy, documenting this special moment of their lives. I’m grateful they put so much trust in me and wish them all the best in their bright future together.
